Aotea College Library

Aotea College Library is both a learning place and an inclusive social space that provides support for students and staff to read, research, collaborate and create.

Library staff are passionate about books, reading and information literacy. The library is full of relevant engaging resources, including up-to-date young adult fiction and graphic novel collections, books for reluctant readers, as well as a select range of non-fiction resources. At break times the library becomes the central hub of the College and students can be seen playing offline games, reading, studying, catching up with friends and generally just enjoying the vibrant library space.

Students can access the school library website from anywhere, anytime! Our library website is continually updated with book news, resources and useful links. Students log in with their school gmail details to check loans and renew and reserve books.

Looking for information or researching for an assessment? Don’t just Google it! The library website has access to EPIC, with thousands of electronic resources, and other verified websites from NZ and overseas. For assistance with research please ask. We can help!

If you have any questions or need recommendations, contact the Library Manager, Megan Ferris on fes@aotea.school.nz.
