A complete rebuild of teaching and learning areas is well underway.
The buildings will be completed during term 4 2019 and we will hold opening ceremonies this year.
The college will operate without major disruption with the new construction located away from current buildings. Health and safety barriers section off the construction site.
The Gymnasium and current Auditorium Te Manawa will remain in use throughout the construction period. Both facilities are available for community use.

Aotea College, the largest state secondary school in Porirua city is located on a hill, overlooking the beautiful Porirua harbour and is set in 14 hectares of grounds including rugby and football fields and tennis and netball courts.
Porirua city is situated 25 minutes from the capital city, Wellington. There are three university campuses and a wide variety of other tertiary institutions within close proximity to the college.
