I really love studying Drama. You get to express yourself, it doesn’t matter how you look or act, because it’s a safe place. Our teacher is really fun, and always helps us to be ourselves.
It’s been awesome to get the opportunity to do Gateway. I get to try out working in the job I want to do in the real world, and get the experience before I go on to more study.
I’m loving studying arts and humanities at Aotea College. I started taking Music in Year 10, and then it just kind of grew from there. Now I’m taking Art, Classics, Music, History and Visual Media and I love it.

A complete rebuild of teaching and learning areas is scheduled to be completed for us to move into at the start of Term 2 2019. Preparation to move into modern, innovative learning spaces is well underway.
The college will operate without major disruption with the new construction located away from current buildings. Health and safety barriers section off the construction site.
The Gymnasium and current Auditorium Te Manawa will remain in use throughout the construction period. Both facilities are available for community use.
