Device – Chromebook, Notebook or Laptop (preferred 4gbRAM with a 5-hour battery)

Stationery / Exercise books – Blue, black & red ballpoint pens, HB Pencil, 30cm clear plastic ruler, eraser, coloured pens or felts, pencil sharpener, glue stick, 14B8 refill pads x 3. Highlighters. 2 x clear file (40 pages) 12 x 1B5 exercise books.

BYOD

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

Laptop computers or Chromebooks, which have keyboards attached, are the recommended forms of device.

Phones and Tablets have limited functionality and are not appropriate for students to use in the classroom or to properly support their learning.

There are no specific requirements for the Laptop or Chromebook.
Providing students can store and process documents and images any basic entry level computer will be sufficient.
Should a student plan on taking courses where digital design and processing are required then a computer with 8GB RAM or greater could be an advantage, but not essential. These types of courses are only run in the senior school years 11 – 13.
