Message from Board Chair ~ Mid term break
The extraordinary demands on and efforts made by Aotea College teachers and support staff in the migration to and settling of the a new school, and they way they rose to the challenge of constructing and delivering an online learning programme during levels 3 and 4 lockdowns are recognised by the Board of Trustees.
The return to school under alert level 2 has gone quite smoothly with high attendance rates for staff and students, this has been an extraordinary achievement by an extraordinary group of people.
For many staff 2020 has started with a twenty three week term with no real opportunity to draw breath and have a break. Accordingly the Board have approved Tuesday 2nd June as a mid term break, school will be closed on this day.
