Aotea College is currently looking to fill two part time fixed term positions. Both positions are term time only, however the Homestay Coordinator is the first point of contact for any emergencies.

Experience working in a school, or in similar roles would be an advantage but is not necessary.
We are hoping to fill both positions as soon as possible to allow for a handover period.
This role is 10 hours per week, and will be a mixture of office based and offsite work. We are looking for a person who is organised, confident with an outgoing personality who can build relationships to support the growth of our International Student Department. In this role you will be required to regularly visit the homes of current and potential homestay hosts.
You will be responsible for ensuring that every international student is placed in safe and supportive environment, and the requirements under the Code of Practice are met.
As the first point of contact in an emergency you will be provided with a mobile phone.
This role is 20 hours per week, hours and days of the week to be negotiated with the International Director.
To be successful in this role you will need to be organised and confident, and you will provide the main administrative support for the International Student Director. This will include the collation and entering of information into our international and student management systems. You will need to organise several support and activity based programmes throughout the year, in liaison with the Director, so the ability to think on your feet and outside the box is an advantage.
