This is a part time position and is 9 hours per week term time only. Remuneration is under Grade B of the NZEI Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement.
We are looking for someone with strong DIY, tools and machine experience or a trades background. A good track record of safe working practices is essential. Good communication skills are also important. The varied range of tasks includes cutting timber for projects, purchasing with our suppliers, maintaining tools, machinery and workshop spaces in a clean and tidy manner.
There is some flexibility on days and hours, and a job share scenario will be considered. This position will start the week beginning July 26th, but we would like the successful applicant(s) to have a handover period during July 5th to 9th.
