Thursday 30th January 2020 - Course review Pataka - Student Hub
11:00am - 12:30pm: Year 13 students should have 5 subjects.
Only students who have a gap in their timetable or want to discuss their course with Whānau Leaders and Heads of Faculty need to come in on Thursday.
In 2020 Year 13 students will have a tutorial line which will be a mix of teacher supervised and self directed tutorial support. Students wishing to take 6 subjects are able to pick another subject.
Monday 3rd February 2020 - Year 9s
8:45am: Year 9 students gather in the new carpark.
At 8.50am,Whanau Leaders will prepare new students for the Powhiri in the gym.
9:00am: Powhiri in the gym.
Guests and visitors will be invited to the staffroom for light refreshments after the Powhiri.
10:50am - 11.20pm: - Interval
11:40pm: - Hui Ako activity.
1:30pm - 2:10pm: - Lunch
2:50pm - 3:10pm: - Whanau assemblies
Tuesday 4th February 2020 - Whānau Day - All students
At 8:50am students go to their Hui Ako classrooms to meet with Hui Ako teachers and class members.
Students will begin the business of getting to know all of the important things for the start of the year. Students will take part in a series of rotations within their Whānau groups so they need to be in Mufti for the day. Students must be prepared with food, water, sunscreen and appropriate clothing for taking part in activities.
